Q. How can I add a Bernedoodle Buddy to my family?
A. Please complete the application form on our website and return to us at bernedoodlebuddies@gmail.com. You will then need to complete the puppy deposit contract and place a deposit with zelle or good dog.com. Once we have received the application and the deposit we will e-mail you confirmation and place you on our list. ***Please note that your deposit will be applied to your total adoption fee.
Q. Is my reservation fee refundable?
A. Reservation fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a future litter.
Q. At what age can I select my Bernedoodle Buddy?
A. Puppies selection will be made at 7 weeks old, after temperament testing. We will go in order of deposits received.
Q. Can I come to visit Bernedoodle Buddies and see my puppy in person and meet the parents?
A. We would love for you to see all of our Bernedoodle Buddies, however we cannot allow outside visitors. Parvo is a very real risk and we wouldn't want our puppies to fall victim. If you would like to meet at another area, we can arrange for that.
Q. How often will you send photos of my puppy?
A. We strive to update puppy photos at least weekly. We also facetime families, and schedule Instagram LIVE Sessions several times a week. We want our families to feel involved as we raise their future fur baby!
Q. Are my puppies parents OFA certified for hips and elbow dysplasia?
A. Yes, all of our parents are OFA certified.
Q. Are the parents of my puppy genetically health tested?
A. Yes, the parents are genetically health tested.
Q. At what age can my puppy leave Bernedoodle Buddies?
A. Puppies can leave us at 8 weeks in most cases. If our vet feels that your puppy should stay longer, you will be notified.
Q. What if I cannot pick my puppy up on the scheduled homecoming day?
A. We are happy to keep your puppy for you for the boarding fee of $20.00 a day. Y
Q. When will the balance be due on my puppy?
A. The balance is due on your puppy at 6 weeks of age. If I don't hear from you within a week, I will assume you have decided to pass on this puppy and it will be offered to the next family on our list.
Q. Will my puppy come with vaccinations and be wormed?
A. All puppies receive a vaccination round at 7 weeks (you will need boosters and rabies vaccination once taken home) and are fully wormed and health checked by my vet.
Q. Will I receive a copy of the vets shot record?
A. You will receive a complete health check up report with all shots and worming products your puppy received here. Including a Health Certificate.
Q. Will my puppy have dew claws removed?
A. No, we no longer remove front or rear dew claws. Studies have shown it can be a health detriment to remove front dew claws.
Q. When should I take my puppy to see my vet once it arrives?
A. Please plan to take your puppy to the vet within the first week of arrival. (Please read over our Heath contract/purchase agreement)
Q. Will my puppy be potty trained when I pick it up?
A. We work with all of our puppies on potty training. Please keep in mind puppies do not fully understand the concept of potty training until 16 weeks of age at the earliest.
Q. What training will my puppy receive at Bernedoodle Buddies?
A. All of our puppies receive eight weeks of extensive nurturing, socializing, teaching, exposing and desensitizing, early training and more. Our days are filled with age appropriate early learning opportunities, daily 10-step puppy handling massage, sight/sound/tactile exposure, and enrichment activities. We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture protocols & Bad Ass Breeder Methodology. This is an incredible undertaking that leaves a lifelong impression on our puppies and prepares them to be the best buddy for your family!

Q. If something should happen and I can no longer take care of my dog will Bernedoodle Buddies take the dog back?
A. Yes, if for any reason, at any point of the dogs life you can no longer care for him or her please contact us. No refund will be given, unless covered under our Health Guarantee in the contract.
Q. What is the difference between a F1, F1b, F2b?
A. A F1 is a purebred Bernese bred to a purebred Poodle (of any size).
-A F1b is a F1 Bernedoodle bred back to a Poodle.
-A F2 is two F1 Bernedoodles bred together.
